Lois Lambert opened the Gallery of Functional Art in 1988 becoming the first tenant in Frank Gehry’s “Edgemark” building in Santa Monica. In 1994 the gallery moved to Bergamot Station and in 1995 she started the Lois Lambert Gallery. Since then she has added more than 30 artists working in photography, mixed media as well as painting and sculpture.

The gallery showcases emerging to mid-career artists from all over the world.
